The RUFO fire ball is an automatic suppression device designed to control fire without human presence or skill. Simply mount it in a fire-prone location, or throw it into the flames when a fire starts.
Activation mechanism
A thermal fuse runs across the ball's shell. As soon as a flame touches this fuse, within 3–5 seconds it activates and the dry chemical powder inside is dispersed by a controlled burst across the whole area, breaking the combustion chain.
Warning alarm
On activation, the controlled burst also acts as an alarm of about 120 dB, alerting occupants to the fire — a feature that is vital especially during sleeping hours.
Where to install
The best places to install a RUFO ball include the kitchen, electrical panel, boiler room, warehouse, parking and near high-risk equipment. The auto model for computers and electrical gear also suits server racks and PC cases.
